Reports: ACC Week 1 game rescheduled due to COVID-19 cluster at NC State

An ACC opening-week game has been moved according to multiple reports. Pete Thamel was first to report that NC State at Virginia Tech has been moved from Sept. 12 to Sept. 26 due to a COVID-19 cluster within the NC State program.
NC State announced Monday that it was pausing all athletic activities after 27 cases of COVID-19 were identified within the athletic department. The school has already moved all undergraduate courses online only.
As for the adjusted ACC schedule, NC State is now scheduled to open its season at home against Wake Forest on Sept. 19. Virginia Tech will host in-state rival Virginia on the same day.
The ACC schedule is currently set for games starting Thursday, Sept. 10 (Miami vs. UAB) through Saturday, Dec. 5.
