Roger McCreary has an interception to remember for a long time.

At halftime on Sunday of the Tennessee Titans game against the Los Angeles Chargers, the rookie out of Auburn tipped the ball back to a teammate, Joshua Kalu, on a pass from Justin Herbert intended for Mike Williams. The play came in the closing seconds of the first half, and kept the game tied at 7, as it prevented the Chargers from pulling ahead.

It was described as a volleyball-type play, and it is easily the Interception of the Year in the NFL.

The Titans selected McCreary with the 35th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. The former first-team All-American and first Team All-SEC selection recorded an SEC-high 14 pass breakups last season, and made 49 tackles and 2 interceptions.
