Hartman is heading into his fifth season in college football. He was nothing short of incredible for the Demon Deacons last season, throwing for 4,228 yards, 39 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. He led Wake Forest to a final AP ranking of No. 15 in the country and as high as No. 13 in Week 10.
Backup quarterback Mitch Griffis did well in place of Hartman, throwing for 288 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 44-10 victory.
Vanderbilt’s undefeated streak may be in trouble this week. We’ll see what Mike Wright and company can do.
