Ismael Cisse is likely out for the 2025 season, Arkansas coach Sam Pittman shared on Thursday.
Last week, it was reported that Cisse suffered an injury in the weight room. Pittman is in Atlanta for Arkansas’s turn at SEC Media Days, and the Razorback coach provided a discouraging update on Cisse. Pittman called the surgery for torn ligaments in Cisse’s wrist “probably season-ending” for the transfer wideout who was entering his redshirt sophomore season.
Sam Pittman updated the injury to WR Ismael Cisse from a weight-lifting incident. Pittman said he tore some ligaments in his wrist so it's "probably season-ending surgery that he had last Friday."

Cisse played the first 2 seasons of his career at Stanford. He decided to enter the transfer portal following the 2024 season and landed at Arkansas.
With the Cardinal, Cisse played in 14 games over 2 seasons. In 2024, he logged 26 receptions for 241 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Cisse was 1 of 31 transfer additions for Arkansas’s 2025 class. In addition to Cisse, the Razorbacks also brought in Jalen Brown (Florida State), Andy Jean (Pitt), Courtney Crutchfield (Mizzou), O’Megal Blake (Charlotte), Kam Shanks (UAB) and Raylen Sharpe (Fresno State) to rebuild the receiver room.
