The Savannah Bananas have become one of the most popular forms of sports entertainment, an exhibition baseball team that travels all over the country, providing fans with an atmosphere similar to the one the Harlem Globetrotters have given to basketball fans for years.
On Thursday, the team announced a string of games that will be played at major football stadiums in 2026. The Bananas will play at a pair of Big Ten football stadiums in 2026, and they’ll play at a pair of SEC venues. The first will be in College Station.
The Bananas will be making an appearance at Kyle Field next May. They will face the Texas Tailgaters on May 2.
Kyle Field is one of the most popular stadiums in college football and provides an experience that very few stadiums can replicate. Combine the pageantry of Texas A&M fans and the atmosphere at Kyle Field with the entertainment that the Bananas provide, and it should be a great night next May.
Banana ball is also scheduled to make a trip to Doak Campbell Stadium, home of the Florida State Seminoles, in Tallahassee next February. The Bananas will play at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill in April. In June, the team will play at Nebraska’s Memorial Stadium and Oregon’s Autzen Stadium. They will conclude their football stadium tour at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City in July.
