Thursday’s special is about learning the dates of all the conference games. In September, the conference announced every team’s opponents for the 2026-29 seasons.
The 2026 season will be the SEC’s first with teams playing 9 conference contests. Under the new model, each team has 3 permanent opponents. The other 6 opponents are rotating. Every SEC program will host each team in the league at least once every 4 years.
The permanent opponents are only set for 2026-29. The conference is set to re-evaluate those pairings ahead of the next 4-year schedule rotation.
