SEC announces kickoff time, TV network for Mizzou vs. Mississippi State

No. 19 Missouri will aim to get back on track when it takes on visiting No. 3 Texas A&M this week. However looking ahead, we also now know the kickoff time and TV network for Missouri’s home game vs. Mississippi State on Nov. 15.

The SEC has announced that Mississippi State at Missouri will take place at 7:45 p.m. ET on the SEC Network.

Missouri leads the all-time series 3-2 vs. Mississippi State. Missouri won last season’s meeting 39-20 in Starkville. It was the first game between the programs since Mississippi State won 51-32 on Dec. 19, 2020 in Starkville.

Mizzou lost 17-10 at then-No. 10 Vanderbilt in Week 9. The Tigers lost despite holding Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia to no passing touchdowns and an interception.

Missouri is strong offensively, tied at 24th nationally in points per game (35.4). The Tigers are particularly elite at running the ball, ranking 10th in the country with 235.5 yards per game. Missouri running back Ahmad Hardy has rushed for 937 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Mississippi State is 5-4 overall but all 4 losses are in SEC play. The Bulldogs earned their first SEC victory of the season last weekend with a 38-35 win at Arkansas.
