The SEC basketball schedule for Saturday, Feb. 18 brings 7 conference matchups to the slate throughout the day.
With 5 games to go in the regular season, the race to the league title has tightened up a bit following Tennessee’s upset of Alabama during the week. A loss to the Vols gave Alabama its first league defeat and gives the Tide just a single-game advantage over Texas A&M in SEC play.
Behind the Aggies, Tennessee now stands 3 games behind Alabama in the SEC standings. Texas A&M will get a game against Tennessee and Alabama down the stretch to try and close the gap in the standings.
For Saturday, Tennessee will try to keep its bounce-back week rolling with a road trip to Kentucky. That game also provides the Wildcats with one of their last shots to notch a signature victory in the regular season before we turn to the SEC Tournament.
Alabama prepares for a visit from Georgia while Missouri looks to get the bad taste of a blowout loss to Auburn out of its mouth. The Tigers will take on red-hot Texas A&M at home.
