SEC Football Final analysts have released their top 6 teams in the mix for the College Football Playoff.
Much of the debate was about Tennessee’s body of work, and strength of schedule for Big Ten teams like Ohio State and Michigan.
At the end of Week 9, the analysts and host Dari Nowkhah released their top 6 teams. Interestingly enough, Chris Doering left Clemson out completely because he said the ACC was too weak to include.
Getting philosophical, Takeo Spikes said, “The future can’t be the future if you don’t take care of the present day. The champs are No. 1. They’ve still got the belt.”
About Alabama, Spikes also declared that, “We’re sleeping on St. Nick. … The more I’m looking at it, I probably should have took Clemson out. … You know what, I’m taking Clemson out, putting TCU in.”
Dari Nowkhah: Tennessee, Ohio State, TCU, Georgia, Clemson, Michigan.
Chris Doering: Tennessee, Georgia, Ohio State, Michigan, Alabama, TCU.
Benjamin Watson: Tennessee, Georgia, Ohio State, Clemson, Michigan, Alabama.
