SEC troll Danny Kanell offers unique olive branch in exchange for charity donations

Danny Kanell has developed a reputation as an SEC troll, and now he’s turning that persona into money for charity.
The CBS Sports analyst is raising money for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, something the network has done since 2016. On the fundraising page to donate, the organization says, “With your help, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food, because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.”
As part of a CBS Sports HQ telethon, Kanell was among a host of college football and NFL experts offering fantasy football advice alongside a promotion for the hospital.
Kanell has listed SEC-related milestones.
- If we hit $20,000 I’ll wear a different SEC jersey every day for 2 weeks.
- If we get $50,000 I’ll get an SEC tat.
- If it hits $60k my producer gets one too
Need to hit our goal of $20,000 for our @FFToday telethon benefitting @stjude 45 minutes left
