Ranking SEC vs. ACC after Week 11

As the only undefeated team in the ACC or SEC, Clemson has stayed on top of the playoff picture and remains in the driverโ€™s seat heading into the end of the regular season. ย 

Behind Clemson, Alabama is coming off impressive wins against Mississippi State and LSU, and leads a tough trio of one-loss teams including Florida and North Carolina.

PLAYOFFS

These teams have a legitimate chance to get into the playoffs and once there could mess around and win the whole thing because anything can happen in those two games.

1. Clemson Tigers (10-0)
2. Alabama Crimson Tide (9-1)
3. Florida Gators (9-1)
4. North Carolina Tar Heels (9-1)
5. Florida State Seminoles (8-2)

CONTENDERS

If everything breaks right, LSU or Ole Miss could get into the playoffs. ย ย 

6. Arkansas Razorbacks (6-4)
7. LSU Tigers (7-2)
8. Ole Miss Rebels (7-3)

CHALLENGERS

These teams won’t make the playoffs, but their opponents can’t afford to overlook them.

9. Mississippi State Bulldogs (7-3)
10. Pittsburgh Panthers (7-3)
11. Tennessee Volunteers (6-4)
12. Georgia Bulldogs (7-3)
13. Texas A&M Aggies (7-3)

NO ONE WANTS TO PLAY

Most of these teams are headed for bowls and could play spoiler down the stretch.
