Earlier tonight, the Southeastern Conference handed out its weekly football honors to the top performers from this past week of SEC football.

Here are the following Week 7 award winners.

Offensive Player of the Week

Dak Prescott, QB, Mississippi State

Once again Dak Prescott turned in another outstanding performance on the national stage. Against No. 2 ranked Auburn, Prescott led the Bulldogs to Mississippi State’s third-straight win against a top-10 ranked team. He gained 367 yards of total offense and recorded his second game with at least 200 passing yards and 100 rushing yards.

Defensive Player of the Week

Cody Prewitt, DB, Ole Miss

The stud Ole Miss safety takes home Defensive Player of the Week honors for his play during Ole Miss’ 35-20 win over Texas A&M. In addition to his seven tackles, Prewitt took back a pick-six for the Rebels, which was the first of his career. Ole Miss now has three pick-sixes on the season.

Co- Freshman of the Week

Nick Chubb, RB, Georgia

The Georgia running back saved his biggest game of the season for his first-ever collegiate start when his team needed it most. With Todd Gurley indefinitely suspended, Chubb shouldered the Georgia running game, carrying the ball 38 times for 143 yards and one touchdown. Chubb was arguably the Bulldogs’ best player in their 34-0 shutout of Missouri.

Co- Freshman of the Week

Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU

The nation’s No. 1 high school recruit keeps improving with every passing week. This time, Leonard Fournette busted loose for 140 yards and two touchdowns on the road against the Florida Gators. His 27 carries and 140 rushing yards were both career highs in his first collegiate start.

Special Teams Player of the Week

JK Scott, P, Alabama

Scott, a true freshman, punted a career-high eight times against Arkansas last Saturday and averaged 44.2 yards per punt. Seven of his eight punts were within Arkansas’ 20-yard line and he played a big role in putting the Razorbacks’ explosive offense in several tough starting positions throughout the game.

Offensive Lineman of the Week

Vadal Alexander, OL, LSU

He played every single one of LSU’s 73 offensive snaps against the Gators and led the Tigers with 11 knockdown blocks. Alexander anchored an offensive line that racked up 195 rushing yards, nearly 100 yards higher than LSU’s per game average.

Defensive Lineman of the Week

Marquis Haynes, DE, Ole Miss

The Ole Miss defense shined once again and defensive end Marquis Haynes was one of its stars. Haynes recorded two sacks and four tackles on the night. Ole Miss shut out Texas A&M in the first half and held them to the Aggies’ to 20 points, their lowest point total of the season.
