Second Big Ten team in as many days announces it will quarantine after COVID-19 outbreak

On Friday, Michigan State announced it was quarantining its entire football program after a player and 2 staffers tested positive for COVID-19.
Saturday brought more bad news for the Big Ten, as another team will quarantine as a program following a COVID-19 outbreak.

Per a release from the university, all workouts have been paused while the Scarlet Knights work on moving forward (via NJ.com):
“Since returning to campus on June 15, Rutgers football has experienced four positive tests for COVID-19. Today, we learned of six additional positive COVID-19 results in our latest weekly testing cycle,” according to a university statement released Saturday. “As a result, we have paused all in-person team activities, quarantined our entire program and will work diligently with Rutgers medical experts, and state and local officials to determine next steps.”
With the potential start of the regular season approaching in just over a month, we’ll see how soon the Spartans and Scarlet Knights can return to working out.
