It was a hum-drum year for Tennessee football, but the Vols still have some very real talent set to showcase their skills at the 2026 NFL Combine. This pre-draft process allows NFL franchises to get a closer look at their next potential players and will have a major impact on their landing spot come late April.
And despite 2025-26 not being the strongest year for the Vols, Tennessee is well-represented at the upcoming combine. Six former Tennessee players were invited among a total combine class including 319 invitees.
Here’s look at all 6 Vols invited to the combine:
- Chris Brazzell II, WR
- Miles Kitselman, TE
- Bryson Eason, DT
- Joshua Josephs, DE
- Colton Hood, CB
- Jermod McCoy, CB
Of these players, a few are receiving first-round hype — namely cornerbacks Jermod McCoy and Colton Hood. McCoy, who transferred in from Oregon State a few years ago, did not play this season following an ACL tear back in January of 2025. Had he not suffered that injury, McCoy would be a surefire top 10 pick in the upcoming draft. Still, being picked in the top 15 is definitely on the table for McCoy.
Hood, on the other hand, filled in for McCoy and really impressed in his role. The former Colorado Buffalo was as impressive as any CB in the country when it comes to man coverage, and he’s a great tackler to boot. According to a few mock drafts, Hood is expected to go in the top 20 or so.
The 2026 NFL Combine kicks off on Monday, February 23 and runs through March 2. The event will be held in Indianapolis.
