The South Carolina special teams depth took a hit on Tuesday, as a key backup entered his name in the NCAA transfer portal.

Per 247Sports, backup kicker Alexander Woznick will explore his transfer options ahead of the 2020 season.

In his South Carolina career, Woznick made 11 of his 12 extra-point tries and 1 of his 3 field goal attempts.

Per the report, Woznick was not on scholarship for the Gamecocks, so his transfer won’t affect South Carolina’s numbers for the upcoming season.

Where Woznick ends up next remains to be seen, but South Carolina will seemingly have to find a new backup for Parker White.
