South Carolina unveils uniform combination for road game at Alabama

South Carolina was left licking its wounds after a disappointing home loss to Mississippi State.
The Gamecocks can ill afford to go 0-2 in SEC play. But they’ll have their hands full in Week 4: they’re in Tuscaloosa to take on Alabama. The Crimson Tide are 3-0 and have scored at least 40 points in all three games this season — including a 50-point effort against Florida State in Week 3.
On Saturday, the Gamecocks showed off the uniform combination they’d be wearing against the Tide. They’ll don white helmets, white jerseys, and white pants, as you can see below:
South Carolina coasted to victory in its first two games. It rolled past Kent State 57-0 behind three passing touchdowns from LaNorris Sellers and Jabree Coleman’s two rushing touchdowns. Matt Fuller ran for 125 yards and a touchdown, while Sellers ran for one of his own and 119 yards, a week later against Towson in a 45-9 win.
The good feelings ended in Week 3 against Mississippi State. Despite opening up a 16-0 lead and a 23-14 halftime advantage, the Gamecocks allowed 27 unanswered points on their way to a 41-34 loss. Sellers threw two touchdowns but added two interceptions. Meanwhile, Kamario Taylor threw for four touchdowns.
