Raylen Sharpe is fast. Really fast.

The Arkansas wide receiver caught a pass from Taylen Green and jetted down the sidelines for Arkansas’s first score of the day against Auburn. The Razorbacks are finally on the board after a poor offensive showing in the first half.

Sharpe took advantage of a bad angle from an Auburn defender and went the remainder of the way untouched to the end zone. The below score is Sharpe’s 3rd on the year and his first since Week 2 against Alabama A&M.

Arkansas didn’t waste much time before scoring yet again. Arkansas now leads the Tigers 14-10 following a 1-yard TD rush from Braylon Russell on the drive after Sharpe’s score.

Moving the football has not been a problem for the Razorbacks this season. Bobby Petrino’s offense is firing on all cylinders with Taylen Green under center, and when he’s on Arkansas is really difficult to stop. Ole Miss, Tennessee and Texas A&M couldn’t keep the Razorbacks below 30 points in their earlier matchups this season.

No, the reason Arkansas is still winless in SEC play is not because of its offense. They’ll have to find some defense against Auburn in the second half if they want to end that winless streak.
