Tennessee had a big day on the recruiting trail on Friday.

The Vols added a pair of 3-star prospects to their 2026 class: edge Kedric Golston II and offensive lineman Edward Baker.

Tennessee won out for Golston despite offers from programs such as Georgia and Virginia Tech, amongst others.

“They have always made me feel like a priority in their system,” Golston told On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

Golston is the No. 452 overall player and the No. 44 edge rusher in the country for the class of 2026, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 11 overall player from the state of Virginia. It’s possible he will earn 4-star status before the end of the 2026 cycle.

Baker also chose Tennessee over multiple SEC offers, including Arkansas and Ole Miss.

Baker is the No. 94 interior offensive lineman in the country for the class of 2026, per 247Sports Composite rankings. However, his growing offer list suggests he may be due for a rankings increase. Penn State and NC State also showed interest during his recruitment.

Tennessee now has 11 commits in the class of 2026. The group ranks No. 35 nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
