Texas A&M has long been proud of its rabid fan support in College Station, and on the eve of its Week 5 SEC showdown against Auburn the Aggies had something else to boast about regarding their fan base.

The Texas A&M athletic department announced on Friday afternoon that Saturday afternoon’s matchup with the Tigers will be a sellout at Kyle Field. The football program’s famed “12th Man” will have yet another chance to prove that playing at Kyle Field is one of the wildest experiences a fan can have, and that trying to win at Kyle Field as a road team is one of the hardest things to do in college football.

Making matters harder for Auburn on Saturday in the 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff on ESPN is the fact that this Texas A&M team is pretty good, at least so far. The Aggies are the 9th-ranked team in the country coming into Saturday, and they’ll be trying to run their record to 4-0 after a bye week in their SEC opener. Besides trying to survive the Kyle Field sellout crowd, Auburn will also be trying to bounce back from last week’s loss at Oklahoma.

Come Saturday afternoon, it’ll all get started, with maximum fan support from the Kyle Field “12th Man” and maximum challenges awaiting Auburn.

Texas A&M is 8-7 all-time against Auburn.
