Texas A&M won its first 2 games in easy fashion this season, cruising past UTSA and Utah State at home.

Then it won in a creative way in Week 3, outlasting Notre Dame in South Bend in thrilling fashion with a touchdown pass in the final, frantic seconds.

As it turned out, that creativity in College Station has continued through the bye week and into the final days before Texas A&M’s home SEC showdown against Auburn. The ninth-ranked Aggies will be playing their conference opener against an Auburn team coming off a loss at Oklahoma. On Thursday, fans learned that Texas A&M will break out a special look on Saturday at Kyle Field.

The Texas A&M football social media account called on the longtime hit show Survivor to reveal exactly how the Aggies will be dressed for the Week 5 showcase that kicks off at 3:30 p.m. ET on ESPN. As the post headline said, “The Council has Spoken,” the votes were tallied, and the 3 Texas A&M players in the clever video all came up with the same maroon color for the Aggies with regard to their pants, jerseys, and helmets.

It’ll be a full-on maroon showcase when Mike Elko and his squad scream through the tunnel and onto Kyle Field on Saturday.

The Aggies will surely look marvelous when they take the field, and Texas A&M fans can only hope they play as well as they look on Saturday in trying to stay unbeaten.
