Texas A&M receiver Terry Bussey carted off field with apparent leg injury on opening kickoff

Texas A&M receiver Terry Bussey is a big part of the Texas A&M team as a key offensive player and kick returner.
However, after the opening kickoff of the game against Kentucky, Bussey was carted off the field with an apparent right leg injury.
On the play, it was originally determined that Bussey fumbled the ball. However, the officials went and looked at the instant replay and ended up overturning the call.

Bussey is one of the most important pieces of the Aggies’ offense, as he entered the Week 3 matchup against the Wildcats tied for the most catches on the team with seven. Not only is he one of the more talented players on offense, but this is his third year in College Station, which is a rarity in today’s college football. He has continued to build a relationship and chemistry with star quarterback Marcel Reed, who has shown his trust in the junior receiver throughout this season.
Losing a player of his talent is always tough, but the Aggies do have a lot of depth and talent at the wide receiver position. His health will be something to keep an eye on, as the Aggies have a road game looming next week at LSU.
