Texas A&M is currently unbeaten and ranked No. 5 in the country. The Aggies will be looking to continue their impressive start to the season when they host Florida on Saturday.

College Station is one of the best settings in all of college football, and it figures to be rocking at kickoff. And, inside Kyle Field, there may be a little more energy than usual.

The Aggies are breaking out throwback uniforms in Week 7. Texas A&M revealed the 1975-inspired look on social media Thursday night.

This year marks the 50-year anniversary of the 1975 A&M team that went 10-2 and claimed a Southwest Conference title.

And in Mike Elko’s second year in charge, the Aggies appear to be a team that is capable of that type of season, especially with the defense playing much better in conference play.

In the first three non-conference games, the Aggies gave up 28.7 points. In SEC matchups with Auburn and Mississippi State, the Aggies have given up 9.5 points. If the defense can continue to play like that, then Texas A&M will certainly be in the conversation for a high seed in the College Football Playoff.

The Gators enter Saturday’s game at 2-3, but they have some momentum after getting a huge victory against Texas in Week 6. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET (ESPN). The Aggies are a 7.5-point favorite, per DraftKings.
