Texas A&M received a respite from what’s been a disappointing season in Aggieland with an easy 41-0 win over The Citadel in Week 7.

Saturday’s game won’t be as simple.

When the Aggies head to Tuscaloosa for a Week 8 contest at Alabama, they’ll be looking to avoid a fourth defeat in SEC play. That would guarantee their worst conference record under Mike Elko and their most league losses since 2023.

While 2026 won’t see Texas A&M return to the College Football Playoff, it will at least look to add to Alabama’s misery. The Crimson Tide have dropped back-to-back games against Georgia and Tennessee. That marks their first two-game losing streak since 2013.

On Thursday, the Aggies released their uniform combination for Saturday’s game. Freshman linebacker Tamarion Watkins showcased the look, which includes white uniforms with maroon numbers and lettering, white gloves and pants, and a while helmet with “Aggies” in script lettering.

Texas A&M and Alabama have played each other only 16 times. The Tide lead the series 13-3. Since 2012, they have faced each other annually, with Alabama holding a comfortable 10-2 edge in that time span.

The Aggies will be looking to make a little history on Saturday, too. They have never won at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
