Texas has an early lead over BYU after a huge punt return from Xavier Worthy.
After the Longhorns forced a 3 and out on the opening drive, BYU was forced to punt it away. Worthy fielded the punt and turned on the jets, carving through the gap in the defense and making it into the endzone to take an early 7-0 lead.

The punt return for a touchdown could set the tone for the game and give the Longhorns some positive momentum. On the next drive, Texas’ defense forced another 3 and out and got the ball back. Now, the Longhorns are looking to take a 2-score lead.
Texas is coming off a narrow win over Houston last week and looking for another big win. Meanwhile for the Cougars, they’re hoping to notch a signature win before the back stretch of the season.
