Trinidad Chambliss and Ole Miss earned a 45-15 win against Auburn on Saturday, in a game that was much more competitive than the final score shows. It was 17-15 Rebels midway through the third quarter, but Chambliss and the Rebels scored the last 28 points of the game.

Despite the big win, Ole Miss fans were frustrated with the playcalling of offensive coordinator John David Baker.

Chambliss doesn’t share those issues with Baker, saying he has the utmost trust in the calls.

“He is a great playcaller. I have all the trust in the world in him to make the right play call,” Chambliss said after the game.

Before Saturday, Chambliss had not been nearly as accurate in the last two games against Missouri and Texas. He completed only 51.1 % of his passes in the last two games, but the quarterback said after the loss to Texas that he had to evaluate his game preparation.

Getting the win on Saturday was huge, as the Rebels move to 6-2 on the season. They are right there in the thick of things in the SEC and the College Football Playoff, and are now set up to host one of the biggest games of the season when Georgia comes to Oxford next week.
