Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins got off to a perfect start Sunday night.

In his return from concussion protocol, Tagovailoa engineered a 9-play, 71-yard opening drive that was capped by an 8-yard touchdown pass to Miami RB Raheem Mostert. With a successful extra point, Tagovailoa and company took a 7-0 lead on the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 1st quarter.

Tagovailoa is playing in his first game since Sept. 29, when he left the Dolphins-Bengals Thursday Night Football game after hitting his head. He spent the past 2 Miami games in concussion protocol.

The Dolphins, sporting throwback uniforms and celebrating the 1972 perfect season, are still up 7-0 in the opening quarter. Tagovailoa has completed 7 of his first 8 passes for 93 yards.

The game, being played in Miami, is airing on NBC.
