Twice as nice: Florida adds DB to 2027 class in 2nd commitment of day

Tuesday is proving to be a big day for the Florida Gators on the recruiting trail.
Shortly after landing a commitment from 4-star OL Elijah Hutcheson, UF landed another commitment. Safety Kailib Dillard is the newest Gator pledge.

Out of Jenks (Oklahoma) High School, Dillard is listed as measuring 6-2 and 185 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Dillard is rated 3-stars, the No. 13 player in the state of Oklahoma, No. 46 safety and No. 473 prospect overall in the Class of 2027.
Dillard has collected scholarship offers from 32 programs during his recruitment. Arkansas, Auburn, Miami, Mizzou, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Texas were among the programs. For Tuesday’s announcement, Dillard said it was down to Florida, Georgia and Oregon.
Dillard’s commitment gives Florida 12 verbal commitments for 2027, the first full cycle for Jon Sumrall and his staff. Fans can get a preview of what Dillard will bring to The Swamp next year by watching his highlights, below:
