UAB now set to kick off the 2020 season in just two weeks after adding pair of games to fall schedule
Good news from the state of Alabama as we are now just two weeks away from the start of the upcoming college football season.
While South Alabama was already scheduled to face off against Southern Miss on Thursday, Sept. 3, we now have two college football games set to open the 2020 college football season on that date as UAB has announced a new matchup against Central Arkansas for Sept. 3.
The Central Arkansas at UAB game is set to be played at 7 p.m. CT.
In addition to that matchup, Louisiana has also been added to UAB’s schedule with a Friday, Oct. 23 game now on the books for the coming season.
These new games were necessary following the cancelation of fall seasons by New Mexico State and Alabama A&M — both of which were previously scheduled to travel to UAB.
