You got to hand it to Joe Golding, he’s not bashful on the big stage.

If you don’t know the name, he’s Abilene Christian’s head coach. During his recent media availability, the coach of the No. 15 seed out of the Midwest Region of the 2019 NCAA Tournament previewed his team’s upcoming game against No. 2 seed Kentucky.

In a very matter of factly way, Golding announced to the world he planned to coach the upcoming NCAA Tournament with a “hole in my butt.”

It was quite the exchange that was thankfully shared by CBS/FOX sports anchor Lee K. Howard of Lexington, Kentucky. Golding explained his situation heading into the tournament.

“I got one suit my man. I had two suits when the year started, I left one in the airport, true story. Had to play Nicholls State and buy a suit – or khaki pants and a shirt,” Golding said. “I’m coaching tomorrow in my baby blue suit and I’m going to have a hole in my butt. It is what it is. We are going to be who we are and go out there and embrace it.”
