Kentucky’s Josh Paschal on Wednesday shared more good news about his battle with skin cancer, something he’s fought for more than a year.

Paschal tweeted a picture following his last immunotherapy treatment for his fight against melanoma on the bottom of his foot.

“I can’t wait for what God has in store for me next,” he wrote, after he thanked family and close supporters. “See you this fall!”

Kentucky last season wore helmet stickers to honor Paschal and offensive line coach John Schlarman, who have each dealt with cancer fights in recent years.

Paschal spoke about his fight during the team’s recent Media Day.

“I feel like this happened for a reason,” he said, according to Kentucky Today. “Going through this, I feel like I’m able to help more people and use my platform to relate to people who don’t have the support that I do. When I see someone who doesn’t have (support) or someone to talk to, I can be able to relate to them.”

In October, coach Mark Stoops said Paschal was cleared for light running. It was the previous spring when Paschal was penciled in as a starter on the defensive line.
