Oh, Urban. Won’t you ever learn?
Meyer is again making waves this week after claiming quarterbacks such as Tim Tebow and Cam Newton are products of his offensive scheme when recruiting quarterbacks.
Urban Meyer says that he counts Cam Newton as being a product of his offense, which isn’t completely fair, but #recruiting.

There’s no debate, Meyer is one of the top quarterback recruiters in the country. He did, after all, land Tebow and Newton in back-to-back classes at Florida.
In all fairness, Meyer clarified his comments.
Context of Meyer’s Cam Newton comment: was talking about his offense putting QBs in NFL. Said he counts Newton w/ Alex Smith & Tebow.

Meyer undoubtedly has an offensive attack that compliments dual-threat quarterbacks. But it could be argued the success of his offense is due to signal callers like Tebow, Newton (whose collegiate success is owed solely to Gus Malzahn and his time at Auburn) and even Braxton Miller at Ohio State.
