Utah owns Southern Cal. At least, in recent memory.

The Utes, even without star QB Cam Rising, found a way as it always does Saturday evening. Kyle Whittingham’s squad used a walk-off field goal to beat the Trojans, 34-32.

Here’s the game-winner:

Bryson Barnes willed this field goal into existence. The Utes got the ball late following a Caleb Williams touchdown, but Barnes sprinted into Trojans territory with this key play:

This is Utah’s 4th straight win over the Trojans, including their 3rd in the past 2 seasons. Utah downed USC in the regular season last year before ruining their CFP hopes in the Pac-12 championship game to end the year.

Utah is 6-1 on the season and still has the top of the Pac-12 on the future schedule. The Utes host Oregon next week and will travel to Seattle in a few weeks to take on a red-hot Washington squad.
