Vanderbilt picks up commitment from 2021 cornerback out of Florida

The Vanderbilt Commodores have done a good job of picking up players from Florida over the years, and on Saturday, they landed another one from the Sunshine State.
This latest Vandy commitment is 3-star 2021 CB Tyson Russell, who attends St. Thomas Aquinas High School.
As you can see below, Russell took to Twitter to announce his decision to commit to the Commodores:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Russell is the No. 93 cornerback in the class of 2021 and the No. 154 overall recruit from the state of Florida.
The Commodores now have 5 players in their 2021 recruiting class. Prior to Russell’s commitment, Vanderbilt’s class ranked No. 63 in the nation and No. 13 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
