No Leonard Fournette? No problem for the LSU Tigers.

Derrius Guice, probably the best backup running back in the country, has carried the load for coach Ed Orgeron’s crew in the Citrus Bowl against Louisville.

In the above video, Guice sprints through the Cardinals’ defense for a 70-yard score after starting the drive with a 12-yard run on the previous play.

The two-play, 82-yard drive gave Guice 133 yards for the game, which LSU leads 23-6 midway through the third quarter.

The Tigers will be in capable hands after Fournette leaves for the NFL. Interestingly, Guice is one of only four SEC running backs — Bo Jackson, Herschel Walker and Moe Williams being the others — to run for 250 yards twice in one season.

Guice, who ran for 1,249 yards and 14 touchdowns in the regular season, eclipsed the 250-yard mark against Arkansas (252) and Texas A&M (285).
