Auburn hoped to parachute into the forefront of the college football landscape by knocking off No. 2 Clemson last Saturday night.
While that didn’t happen, a literal parachuting occurred in Jordan-Hare Stadium.
The Silver Wings — a parachute demonstration team made up of US Army Paratroopers based in Fort Benning, Georgia — dropped into the stadium shortly before kickoff between Auburn and Clemson.
