The Auburn Tigers blew out No. 1 seed North Carolina on Friday night in Kansas City to advance to the Elite Eight, but that win came with a heavy price tag.
That’s because key player Chuma Okeke suffered what may be a serious knee injury in the win after having a huge game for the Tigers.
However, after the game, Okeke’s teammates made sure he knew how much his efforts were appreciated. As you can see below, they helped him (ice wrap and all) officially advance the Tigers on the team’s locker-room bracket:

Every Auburn fan will be intently awaiting the outcome of Okeke’s tests on that injured knee. He’s such an important player and it’ll be tough to continue to advance without him.
However, the Tigers are red-hot right now, and even without Bryce Brown and Jared Harper filling up the stat sheet for large parts of Friday’s game, this is a dangerous squad.
