Now that we’re through five weeks of the 2018 season, the College Football Playoff picture is still murky.
There are still a couple dozen teams that could make runs for a spot in the final four, but it’s always fun to make projections even without knowing how the rest of the year will play out.
On Tuesday night, CBS Sports analysts Brian Jones, Randy Cross and Rick Neuheisel made their updated projections for the Playoff, which you can see below:

Jones, of course, was the guy who had Florida in his preseason Playoff projections, but now he has LSU joining Alabama in the final four.
Cross has Alabama as his No. 1 seed and Georgia in the No. 4 spot, while Neuheisel has Alabama as his sole SEC representative.
