If Auburn F Chuma Okeke hadn’t torn his ACL against North Carolina in the Sweet 16 in March, he likely would have been a lottery pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.

Instead, he was projected by many to be a second-round pick after the injury, but the Orlando Magic selected him with the No. 16 overall pick in what was seen as a surprise by many media members.

As you can see below, Okeke’s watch party, which appears to be at his or his family’s house, went crazy when his name was called:

Okeke was one of the breakout stars of the 2018-19 college basketball season, so this was a well-deserved moment for the hard-working forward.

He may not be able to play in the 2019-20 season, but he should be exciting to watch when he’s healthy again.
