Tom Brady added his name to another record in the NFL, and he got help from former Tennessee WR Cordarrelle Patterson.
Patterson’s 55-yard touchdown catch in the first half of New England’s game with the Miami Dolphins meant that he’s the 70th player that Brady has thrown a TD pass during his NFL career. That tied him with Vinny Testaverde for most in NFL history.
Patterson was an early popular target for Brady, and he had two catches for 59 yards midway through the second quarter as New England led 10-0, and later tacked on another score to lead 17-0 with about seven minutes left in the first half.
