WATCH: Da’Shawn Hand gets to the bottom of Nick Saban’s PBJ, dessert preferences

We know how Alabama coach Nick Saban feels about divulging important information like game plans and player rotations during press conferences, so media days are never going to be very enlightening when he’s around.

However, the five-time national champion has been displaying more personality this year, and he gave another glimpse of that on Saturday during the National Championship Game media day.

As you can see in the video below, shared by @Charlie_Potter on Twitter, DL Da’Shawn Hand finds out Saban’s jelly preferences and also discovers the coach’s favorite dessert:

If Saturday’s practice goes well? Saban said he’ll have another oatmeal cream pie, even if he usually tries to limit himself to two a day.

The moral of the story? No important information ever comes out of media days, so it’s important to have a little fun.
