Eddie Jackson was the beneficiary of a disastrous sequence by a couple of former Tennessee Volunteers.

The former Alabama safety was in the right place at the right time when Buffalo Bills QB Nathan Peterman connected with WR Jason Croom only to have Croom fumble. Jackson scooped up the ball and returned it 65 yards for a touchdown to give the Chicago Bears a 14-0 lead in what’s turned into a rout in Buffalo.

Peterman had another rough outing for the Bills as he had two interceptions in the first half, including one returned for a touchdown.

Jackson, meanwhile, is having a solid season with a sack, two interceptions and a forced fumble.

A second-year player, Jackson is perhaps most known for returning two turnovers for touchdowns last season when he had a fumble and an interception against the Carolina Panthers. He was the first NFL player in history to do that.

With the way Buffalo is playing these days, there’s a reasonable chance for Jackson to do it again today.
