Hayden Hurst has had a remarkable career at South Carolina, and he left no doubt about how he feels concerning his time with the Gamecocks.
Hurst originally joined the program as a walk-on in 2015. Since that time, he has set a school record for catches by a TE with 97 for 1,240 yards and 3 TDs. He will play in the Outback Bowl against Michigan before foregoing his senior season to enter the NFL Draft.
He recently addressed what South Carolina means to him, and Hurst said that his time in Columbia has changed his life. Hurst said he is thankful to Will Muschamp for giving him an opportunity and that it will be tough to leave the Gamecocks.
