Despite leading Alabama to two-straight National Championship Games, QB Jalen Hurts isn’t the favorite to land the starting job again in 2018.
However, even as many pencil Tua Tagovailoa into the starter’s role, Hurts is still beloved by fans in the Yellowhammer State.
As you can see in the short video below, Hurts drew quite a crowd when he attended the Pelham-Calera high school game on Friday night:

Obviously, having a star like Hurts in attendance is a big deal for the players and the fans alike, and they were eager to show Hurts some love.
Even if he doesn’t win the starting job, it’s clear Hurts still has plenty of fans in Alabama.
