Like it or not, Trevor Lawrence and Justin Fields are going to be linked for their entire college careers.
Lawrence, the No. 1 player in the class, signed with Clemson, while Fields opted to go to Georgia.
Lawrence got into the game during the second quarter of Clemson’s season opener against Furman on Saturday afternoon, and ended up tossing his first touchdown pass, as you can see below:

Georgia and Austin Peay kick off at 3:30 p.m. Eastern time on Saturday, so Fields will have a chance to match his counterpart then.
For now, though, Lawrence has the lead and is looking good for the Tigers.
