What everyone’s saying about Tyler Herro’s game-winning shot for Kentucky

No. 3-seed Houston gave No. 2-seed Kentucky all it could handle, but the Wildcats are moving on to the Elite Eight thanks to a clutch three-pointer from Tyler Herro to put UK up 60-58 with 25.8 seconds left. PJ Washington’s big block helped set up the play, but for many fans, Herro will be remembered as the hero for UK, lifting the Wildcats to victory by making the biggest shot of the night.

Kentucky went on to win the game 62-58, setting up an all-SEC showdown with red-hot No. 5-seed Auburn for a trip to the Final Four.

After Friday night’s game, Coach John Calipari said he called on Herro to drive toward the basket, but obviously can’t be mad with the outcome:
