The UCF Knights finished the 2018 regular season a perfect 11-0, but lost star QB McKenzie Milton in the process.
Now, they prepare for the AAC Championship Game against a tough Memphis team that they only beat 31-30 the first time they played this season. They’ll have backup QB Darriel Mack running the offense, but Milton is doing what he can to help.
According to reporter Ryan Bass, Milton has been FaceTiming into team meetings to help the Knights get ready for the title game:
While recovering at Tampa General Hospital, McKenzie Milton has been FaceTiming into the QB room, helping his teammates and Darriel Mack prepare for Memphis on Saturday. Speaks to how amazing KZ is.

Having him help with the game film and having him playing are two very different things, but the Knights will take any help they can get from Milton at this point.
Saturday’s title game kicks off at 3:30 p.m. Eastern time and can be seen on ABC.
