Will Muschamp shares South Carolina’s latest encouraging COVID-19 numbers

South Carolina football is dealing with only one positive COVID-19 test right now, according to Will Muschamp.
The Gamecocks head coach shared that the football team had 1 positive out of “300 or so” tests in the football program. Muschamp did not specify if the positive test is from a player or staffer.
Gamecocks players appear to be doing a good job of avoiding the virus on campus in Columbia. On Tuesday, USC announced that 2 sorority houses are under quarantine after some of the residents tested positive. Earlier this month, Muschamp told Paul Finebaum that he asked his players to lead “boring lives” (with a joke at the SEC Network host’s expense) to avoid catching the virus.
South Carolina is set to host Tennessee on Sept. 26.
Will Muschamp said South Carolina had 1 positive COVID test among the 300 or so tests given recently.
He didn’t get into much detail but said that was “among the tests in the building” not necessarily a player testing positive.
