Ben Cleveland has made a fairly quick recovery from a fractured left fibula suffered against Missouri, and even made the trip to Jacksonville last week for the game against Florida.
Georgia’s right guard was one of the more experienced linemen on the Bulldogs’ offensive line entering the season, so his absence has been noticeable. But according to his Instagram post, it appears he may be ready to return in time for the trip to Kentucky to face LB Kash Daniel and company.
Cleveland is a proud wrestling fan, and he had an exchange with Daniel on Instagram as he said his recovery was fueled by “Copenhagen and Red Bull.”
Interestingly, each player appears to be a fan of Stone Cold Steve Austin as they debated over which one would “be” Austin in their hypothetical “Wrestlemania” scenario.
Daniel has had several incidents this season where his personality has come out, but with a big game to decide the SEC East on tap, it’s good to see Cleveland offer a little personality from the Georgia offensive line.
Daniel and Cleveland should meet plenty of times at Kroger Field, as long as Cleveland is healthy enough to suit up and get on the field.
