LeBron James, ESPN reportedly ‘closing in’ on behind-the-scenes doc similar to ‘The Last Dance’

LeBron James and ESPN are closing in on an agreement to produce a behind-the-scenes documentary series similar to Michael Jordan’s The Last Dance, according to a report from The Athletic’s Andrew Marchand on Thursday.
The series is expected to feature footage from James’ entire career, including both stops in Cleveland, his years in South Beach and his most recent stint with the Los Angeles Lakers. Of course, James announced last week that he will be joining the Philadelphia 76ers with a 2-year deal, and it’s expected that he will have a camera crew documenting his time in Philly as well.
It the documentary is anything like The Last Dance, we’ll be in for a treat. James is a polarizing figure, but his greatness isn’t up for debate.
The 4-time NBA champion has won a title at each stop he’s been at, and he’s set dozens of NBA records along the way. With seemingly 2 seasons to go for his legendary career, James is the NBA’s all-time points leader and owns the most All-Star selections. He’s also the NBA leader in minutes and games played and ranks top 5 in career assists, triple-doubles, field goals made and free throws made.
When it comes to the playoffs, James is in a category of his own from an individual stats standpoint. He’s the NBA playoff leader in points and steals and ranks 2nd in assists behind only Magic Johnson. James also owns the record for most playoff games with 20+ points by a considerable margin.
