CeeDee Lamb used to put up monster numbers at Oklahoma during his time in Norman from 2017-19.

And now, Dallas Cowboys fans have gotten used to the same incredible production at the NFL level since Lamb was taken with the 17th overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft.

On Sunday, those Cowboys fans that Lamb has spoiled since then were totally blown out of the water by a day that none of them will forget. Lamb won’t either, as he racked up a whopping 17 catches for 189 yards and 1 touchdown. The 17 grabs were the most catches in a game in the NFL since Keenan Allen piled up 18 for the Chargers back in 2023.

The former Sooners star had 21 targets on Sunday, and he made the absolute most of them with a historic afternoon in Houston.

Guess what else he did? That 1 touchdown might have seemed insignificant when talking about the catches and the yards. It absolutely was not. That 1 touchdown was the game-winning touchdown catch, a 12-yard scoring pass from former Mississippi State star Dak Prescott with 40 seconds left that lifted Dallas to a thrilling 34-30 victory over the Texans.

Naturally, the catches were the headline attraction though individually for Lamb:

Lamb approached Cowboys history, too, with his 17 catches on Sunday. They were the second-most in the illustrious history of the franchise, trailing only former tight end Jason Witten’s 18 catches in a game.

The Cowboys’ dramatic victory led by Lamb got Dallas even at 2-2 on the season, with an NFC East title in the balance at year’s end. Here is what the Kalshi market is currently saying about the Cowboys’ chances to capture the division crown when the dust settles on the 2026 season:
